Peace and beauty are the main characteristics of La Palma coasts.  Steep cliffs give way to black sand beaches and coves or outstanding beauty.  Only peace and calm.

  The sea bed has been modified after each volcanic eruption.  This fact has reached outstanding forms, as an inheritance or the burning lava sliding to the cold ocean.  This movement has produced a very special submarine architecture, with big caves, tunnels, archs, cornises and vertical walls that vanish into the clean and crystal-clear sea depth.

  Even though the island’s Fauna and Flora are not plentiful, they are really amazing.  It is possible to find the exuberant coral (just by 30 metres), big species as the Canary Lobster or the famous “Vieja” (a fish), which is very valued by islanders.

  There are some well known diving places, but not overcrowded as scuba diving is really new in La Palma.  There are some diving centres on the island, for example: Los Cancajos Beach (Breña Baja), El Laberinto and Las Gorgonias in Puerto de Naos or Punta Larga Beach, Malpique and Las Cabras in Fuencaliente.
